Magnetic filter grid
IN NEODYMIUM DESIGNMagnetic filter grids are mainly used as filters for separating ferrous foreign bodies from fine and granular materials. They are inserted into pipe systems, hoppers, chutes etc. in various forms. Magnetic grids are used for filtering, e.g. in the plastics and wood industries, in the recovery and recycling of metals from household electronics, cars, computers, etc. Another area of application is in all areas where minerals are ground, in the glass and ceramics industry and in the food industry. The magnetic filter grids attract the ferrous material without disturbing the production flow and ensure an end product without ferrous residues. To ensure high resistance to wear and corrosion, all parts that come into contact with the product are made of stainless steel (material no. 1.4301).
Our magnetic filter grilles are equipped with neodymium magnets as standard, which generate a very strong magnetic field. The magnetic filter grilles consume no energy, require no maintenance and are easy to clean. Under normal operating conditions, an unlimited service life is guaranteed. The effective arrangement of the filter rods and the additional installation of deflector rods ensure that the inflow resistance of the materials passing through is low and the possibility of “bridging” is minimized.
On request, the filter grilles can of course be manufactured individually according to your installation dimensions. The articles listed provide an overview of our standard range. Special dimensions and designs such as our “Easy Clean System” are available on request.
The maximum operating temperature is 80 °C. For operating temperatures of 150 °C, the filter grilles can also be fitted with ferrite magnets.
Plate magnets
FOR SEPARATING AND COLLECTING FERROUS PARTSThe plate magnet is an effective magnetic helper for separating and collecting iron parts. It is installed above conveyor belts, on chutes, chutes or pipelines, for example. Here, this magnetic collector in plate form separates ferrous parts from material flows, for example in recycling plants. It is equipped with strong ferrite magnets that are arranged in such a way that a magnetic field is generated that covers the entire area. The magnetic force is maintained permanently under normal conditions. The surfaces that come into contact with the medium are made of stainless steel. The rear base plate of the magnetic separator has threaded holes for mounting purposes. The iron parts are removed from the filter magnet manually. In addition to ferrite magnets, we also supply the plate magnets with a structure made of neodymium magnets (NdFeB), with which a magnetic field up to five times stronger can be built up.
| Art Examples of window field depths in mm |
Iron bar Ø 5 × 25 |
Iron bar Ø 5 × 75 |
Iron bar M 16 |
|---|---|---|---|
| 48.500 – 48.504 | 70 | 90 | 55 |
| 48.525 – 48.529 | 75 | 100 | 60 |
| 48.710 – 48.714 | 110 | 125 | 85 |
The catch field depth indicates the distance from which, for example, a rod with a diameter of 5 mm and a length of 25 mm is attracted by the plate magnet. For item no. 48.500, this is 70 mm. This means that if you move the plate magnet over the floor at a height of 70 mm, this iron bar will still be attracted.
