Magnetic Systems - Permanent Magnets in Housing

IN FLAT AND CYLINDRICAL DESIGNS

Due to their design, magnetic systems with a steel casing have only one magnetic contact surface, while the other surfaces of the system body produce no significant magnetic force.

This limits the spatial range of the magnetic field. As a result, unwanted magnetization of the workpiece or machine components connected to the magnetic system is prevented.

An exception to this are cylindrical systems with a SmCo or NdFeB magnetic core and a brass housing.
